MedRX Residency Program is a studio residency for artists initiated by Medrar and dedicated to Egyptian artists focusing on moving images, immersive and new media art, and technology. The residency is intended for the workflow and studio practice development of artists’ proposed and ongoing projects, through a fully equipped studio that provides access to facilities and devices for immersive technology practice. In addition, the program aims to offer cognitive and collaborative/interactive support by organizing meetings, discussions, and studio visits involving artists and specialists.
Each edition of the program consists of several cycles, each lasting one month, which can be extended, allowing the resident artist to fully utilize the facilities, programs, and services provided by Medrar.
